Mohobelo, an African dance is considered as the oldest form of choreography in the world. Stomping dance of the Sotho ethnic group features striding, leaping, and in some cases, sliding, and almost slithering along the ground. Associated to the roots that are deeply intertwined with nature and its natural life cycle. The deep forest greens and natural tones are contrasted by fresh vibrant hues reflecting new growth from more consistently fertile origins. Nature. Wilderness. Spirit.
"I got an inspiration from African tribes. They constrain their very curly hair with braids glazed with mud, which strengthen the hairstyle that is stable for several weeks. Each tribe is recognised according to hairstyles. It is their identity."
